Preventative Servicing (Contracted):

Our scheduled or preventative servicing and maintenance is undertaken on a contracted basis. We can arrange a service plan to suit your needs, we understand that not all businesses are the same and will adapt our service plan to best suit your requirements. Our service visits will include ensuring doors are working correctly, rectifying any minor faults in closing speeds, sensors, backcheck & latching, basic adjustments.  After completion of the service a written report is submitted to the client outlining any major defects or upgrades that are required to ensure the door functions correctly and safely. Regular service and maintenance is needed to ensure the safety, security and operative efficiency for all door, window and access control products as well as helping you meet your legal duties. We help clients ensure they meet their legal obligations for both DDA Compliance & Regulatory Reform (Fire Regulation)

• Automatic Doors which are legally required to be serviced annually to BS7036 specifications. This is to verify they are both safe & secure.
• Manual Doors which require inspection at six monthly intervals with particular attention being paid to fire exit equipment, hinges, pivots, doors closers & floor springs
• Industrial Doors which includes Roller shutters, Grilles, Sliding & Folding Doors. These particular doors are often subject to strenuous wear & tear. As a result they require regular service & maintenance to ensure that they meet your legal obligations, are safe & secure and are operating efficiently. 

Reactive Maintenance (non contracted):

ASH Lock & Secure offer a reactive servicing on a non contracted basis. We can be contacted on 01442 872586 24/7, 365 days a year. So if you have a fault, breakdown or malfunction with your door we can repair or replace the faulty door even though you do not have a service contract in place. We aim to have an engineer with you within 24 hours however the malfunction is causing a major security or safety breach and needs urgent attention we will get someone to you as soon as possible.
